What Are Food Stuffs?
Foods stuffs are usually the raw material used to produce consumable food, something that is consumed by humans or animals for energy or sustenance. This has been the application and material most commonly associated with microwave technology because this is how most people use them in their homes.
Why Microwave Food Stuffs?
Microwaves can be used to rapidly and volumetrically heat food stuffs in order to dry, cook or sterilize. Many of the mass produce packaged foods you see in a grocery store use microwaves somewhere in their process. Some of the benefits of microwave heating food can be increased speed, lower temperatures, selective heating and cooking the entirety of the mass, not just the surface.
